On Sunday, January 7, The Hideaway Grill proudly welcomed hundreds of bikers and community members who gathered to honor the memory of Amy Chervenak and raise support for her family. Amy, a dedicated medical professional and beloved wife of MCSO Sgt. Steve Chervenak, was tragically killed in November alongside her daughter, who survived and is recovering. The ride was one in a series of fundraising activities for the Chervenaks held Sunday, including a charity raffle and auction.

Led by Amy’s brother, Mike Hillier, the benefit ride started at Desert Ridge and concluded at the Hideaway. The day featured raffles, an auction, and heartfelt community support. All proceeds going toward funeral costs and medical care for the Chervenaks.

The event had help from Ride AZ Promotions and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. It was a powerful reminder of Arizona’s unity, love, and unwavering support for our public safety families.

We thank everyone who came out, donated, and shared in remembering Amy—a woman who truly loved helping others. Remember, in our community “there are no strangers here, just friends you haven’t met yet.”
